Description
Last year, during the height of the COVID pandemic, I created a special piece of art for a dear friend. The piece features a beautiful female cardinal, which I added to the image using Photoshop. The wording for the piece was provided by my friend, making it a truly collaborative effort.
Did you know that male and female cardinals typically stay together year-round? These pairs tend to stay close to each other and rarely stray too far apart. Interestingly, it is the female cardinal who takes on the responsibility of building the nest. Using twigs, pine needles, grass, and other plant materials, cardinals create cozy homes for their families.
Overall, this piece serves as a reminder of the importance of connection and collaboration during difficult times. Despite the challenges we faced during the pandemic, we were able to come together and create something beautiful.

This is really beautiful and very touching, Steve. Outstanding work on this image as well. It definitely touches my heart this day after Valentine's Day, as my partner is flying beside me from a heavenly perch . . . .f/l
